The receiver was engraved and inlaid with 24kt gold as part of a limited edition series. The engraving was completed by old world engraving methods using no lasers or computer-aided devices. Hand engraved for the NRA by master Engraver Suzi Bradley.

Shiloh Rifle of Big Timber, MT custom-built the 1874 Sharps Quigley Rifle with the desired specifications of lead actor Tom Selleck for the movie “Quigley Down Under”. This special firearm is one of 50 limited-edition Shiloh Sharps Quigley Rifles produced by Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing for the National Rifle Association of America and Friends of NRA. Up for grabs is a Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 Quigley rifle in.
